I’ve always been attracted to this color combination - black, red, and gold - so I just made this necklace. It wasn’t until afterward that I realized it reminded me of the shrines/temples I visited in Kyoto, Japan.
I love its simplicity, yet something about the orangey tone of red next to the brass gives it a very royal and reverent look - like a worn and cherished shrine.
Made with Japanese glass beads, solid brass beads, and knotting cord.
Adjustable from 14.5” to 22”
Feel free to wear it in water, while exercising, or visiting your favorite temple.
