This particular piece of lapis lazuli caught my eye because of how consistent/flawless it is, as well as having a more cerulean hue instead of the usual denim or indigo blues.
I don’t usually mix metals, but I wanted to bring out the golden flecks within the stone with a gold-filled bezel and a brass backing, which all sit on top of a sterling silver band. The gold and blue combo really makes me think of Ancient Egyptian royalty/gods.
