The Spunky Girl series was created in 2017 as a way for me to process and retaliate against the constant onslaught of inappropriate and offensive comments I would receive while vending at an art market in NYC. Not only was I struggling with people not appreciating my work, but the few people that would stop at my booth had a knack for either infantilizing or objectifying me. Unable to verbally speak out for myself, I turned my frustration into art.
Each of the Spunky Girls looks cute, innocent, and submissive, but their words are not. They insult you with a smile and a bow, leaving you wondering what just happened.
Printed on matte archival fine art paper measuring 4”×6”.

Prints take 5-7 business days to get printed, and 2-3 days to ship.
The original signature and year are printed on the front, but I will sign and date each print on the back as well.
Great for displaying at the office or anywhere where people like to bother you.
